Nice enough, but POCKETS ARE TOO SMALL
I bought this to replace a similar LL Bean coat I purchased a few years ago (Item 271140), which had a zipper that broke. The new coat is a decent replacement, but I was disappointed that the pockets were MUCH smaller. With the old coat I was able to store a small knit cap and a glove in one pocket. With the new coat, it's either the glove or the cap but not both. (Sizes are the same: Petite Medium.) Also, the fit in the arms seems a bit tighter on this coat. As a long time customer, I've noticed that LL Bean has been skimping on pocket size the past few years: denim jeans, zip front jackets, and now winter coats. PLEASE GO BACK TO PROVIDING BIGGER POCKETS!!!

Nice but not warm enough under 30F
Fits nicely, good wind insulation and water resistance, very convenient deep pockets with zippers. Fleece lining is soft and warm but only exists in the torso/back, hood, and pockets -- not the sleeves or the lower part protecting the bottom and thigh.

Size of Coat
Ordered my normal coat size when I purchased this and was a little disappointed with the fit of this coat as I think LLBean's sizes must run a little smaller than normal. I like the coat but if I were to wear a heavy sweater under the coat it would definitely be a tight fit.

I bought for my daughter and she likes the color and fit. She did mention the fit is not loose and wouldn’t be able to fit another layer underneath.

I've returned this coat
Recycled polyester aka plastic bottles. Extremely poor fit despite ordering a size larger. Short across the back, arm holes too small. I have another ankle length coat I bought almost thirty years ago I can still wear, size large, can layer underneath. Made in the USA of thinsulate. So disappointed.

Great coat
I love this coat. Perfect for fall/ early winter here in northern Illinois. I like the larger pockets that can hold keys, phone, etc. when I’m out walking. This is the 2nd one I’ve purchased.

Best coat ever.
I love this coat. It’s lightweight but warm. I’m tall and it’s difficult to get clothes with the sleeve length that I need and the overall length that I want. This coat has both. I’ve gotten many compliments on it already.
