Armholes are too tight and narrow at the shoulder.
I wanted to love this coat as I have had several in years past, but the armholes are much too narrow---even with only a LLBean cotton turtleneck underneath---a single thin layer! I like the insulated hood and the snap-front closure (so much faster than using the zipper for quick trips in the car), but it has to go back. Come on, LLBean, please size next year's coats with decent armhole sizing so I can get a new coat! And, please never use Velcro for the flaps---that's a "no go" for me. thx.

Excellent quality and good warmth
Got medium size which I usually wear but had to exchange for large. If I wore sweatshirt or heavy sweater the medium was too snug. Large fits perfect with a long sleeve layer underneath. Well made & comfy

Love this coat
This coat is very similar to one that I have had for probably 15 years. The only thing that I don’t like is the hood comes over my face. My old coat has a drawstring down the middle of the hood so it doesn’t do that.

Runs Small/Quality Not the Same
My original size L was the best warm rain/snow coat I owned. When I lost over 3 dress sizes and the coat was swimming on me, I ordered a new Winter Warmer Coat in a size M. I was surprised that the M was a little small fitting well only over a thin shirt. Though the coat is lighter and the color is nice, I found that some of the design changes are not great. For example, now instead of an in-sleeve wrist cuff the coat has a Velcro tie over. Overall, the coat is just not made as well as the original from at least 8 years ago. I will be layering under my old size L.
