We've improved our most popular large rolling duffle, loved since 1996 for its durability, fun colors and great price. Now made of 100% recycled fabrics, with a new U-shaped zipper that opens wider for easier access and an innovative folding design.
Introducing our best-ever Rolling Adventure Duffle, redesigned using customer feedback, product reviews and tests from our own in-house lab. We chose a rugged fabric that's 100% recycled--and just as strong as before. Next, we packed it with improvements, including a wider opening and a new folding design we created by customer request, making it easier to stow away when you're not using it. Available in sizes and colors for every member of the family!
- Coated interior for added weather protection; tested for 24 hours in our deep freeze with no signs of cracking, flaking or peeling.
- Waterproof fabrics. Zippers and seams not waterproof.
- PFC/PFAS-free durable water repellent (DWR).
- 100% recycled 600-denier polyester on body, with 100% recycled 1000-denier polyester on base that's twice as abrasion resistant for added durability.
- Fabrics are made from recycled plastic bottles; this 95L bag uses 39 plastic bottles.
- Spot clean.
- Zipper flap adds weather protection.
- Roomy main compartment.
- Grab handles at either end for easy maneuvering, with low-profile lash points and one rigid handle that helps stabilize bag.
- New U-shaped zippered opening offers 50% more access to contents inside.
- Outside zip pocket.
- Features L.L.Bean mountain graphic logo on either side of bag.
- Internal kickstand lets duffle stand upright for travel, then collapse for storage.

Nothing special
This is not a high quality bag. It has a large volume, but when heavy, it still drags the ground. It is bulky, clumsy and does not travel well through an airline. Another trip, and this will not be usable. Use it for driving or short trips.

Just what I wanted. Light, large, and more secure closure than earlier models. Hope it hold up when loaded with gear for expeditions.

Great Bags
I have been using different versions of these duffles for decades. Always super durable and you can’t beat the price! This one is a gift. I almost wish mine would wear out so I could justify buying the new design for myself :)

So happy with this bag - I had a similar version that didn't stand upright and that feature has now made this bag perfect. Holds a week's worth of clothes. toiletries, shoes, etc., with room to spare.

Pretty heavy even empty
I’m older with aching joints and back, and this bag was almost too heavy when
it was empty, so I returned it..too much for an older lady on a long trip

Good bag, bad zipper
Just got back from a European trip, where I used this bag. It worked great, I bought a bright blue one and could easily see it being loaded on the plane, the stand-up feature is great as well. The the only reason I gave it a 4-star is the zipper, it doesn’t have the type of zipper that a TSA lock can go through. I put the lock through the top of the zipper pulls, but they could easily be broken off.
