We've improved our most popular extra-large duffle, loved since 1996 for its travel-tough durability, fun colors and great price. Now made of 100% recycled fabrics, with a new U-shaped zipper that opens wider for easier access.
Introducing our best-ever Adventure Duffle, redesigned using customer feedback, product reviews and tests from our own in-house lab. We chose a rugged fabric that's 100% recycled--and just as strong as before. Next, we packed it with improvements, including a wider opening, more comfortable shoulder strap and a new storage pouch you can use as a packing cube while traveling. Available in sizes and colors for every member of the family!
- Waterproof fabrics. Zippers and seams not waterproof.
- PFC/PFAS-free durable water repellent (DWR).
- Fabrics are made from recycled plastic bottles; this 135L bag uses 33 plastic bottles.
- 100% recycled 600-denier polyester on body, with 100% recycled 1000-denier polyester on base that's twice as abrasion resistant for added durability.
- Coated interior for added weather protection; tested for 24 hours in our deep freeze with no signs of cracking, flaking or peeling.
- Spot clean.
- Grab handles at either end for easy maneuvering, with low-profile lash points.
- Roomy main compartment.
- New U-shaped zippered opening offers 50% more access to contents inside.
- Zipper flap adds weather protection.
- Outside zip pocket.
- Redesigned storage pouch can be used as a packing cube while traveling, and to store duffle between uses.
- Adjustable, removable shoulder strap has improved sliding design with wider symmetrical padding.
- Compression straps with side-release buckles help stabilize contents.

Perfect for Overnight Camp
Love these bags for overnight camp. We packed one with clothes and the other with linens. Really sturdy.

Great bag for summer camp
My daughter was going to summer camp for the first time, and this duffel bag was just what we needed. I tried three other bags before buying this one...I have chemical sensitivities and the other bags were cheaply made and smelled terrible. This bag, along with a slightly smaller LL Bean duffel, fit everything my girl needed for two weeks away from home with room to spare.

Liked the old design better
I have a few adventure bags, the old kind though without the LL Bean name plastered all over it. I like it's simplicity - this one just takes over the whole bag. I do like the upgraded zipper on that, but just not the design
