Durable and comfortable
I bought this for hiking and it is perfect. It's a medium-weight cotton and I like the double breast pockets. It does run large. I ordered a medium, my normal size, and could have worn a small, but since it's for hiking, it doesn't matter. The color is a rich blue.

Women's Shirt
It is up to the LL Bean quality of craftsmanship but isn't true to color at all. On the computer the shirt looks a vibrant blue. In reality it is a rather dull, off-shade of blue. I had intended for this to be an all-purpose overshirt. But find its color is just a bit odd for a lot of things. It also, like many of LL Bean Women's clothing, runs big.

Great work shirt!
Im giving this a 4 star rather than a 5 for a really picky reason. I actually bought this to be a work shirt - gardening, the daily grind. And it is 5 star for that. It would be full 5 star if it came out of the dryer looking a little smarter. I bought 2 of these shirts, the pink and blue. The blue - if I iron it - looks spiffy and i'd wear it to a neighborhood cook out and look pretty nice. I use the pink for the garden. Otherthan the preppy wishlook, its a great shirt. Wellmade, fits well, is totally comfortable.

Lovely color. I bought the recommended size and it is too small, there is a lot of gapping between the buttons. I am trying again one size up. Lovely soft fabric.
