A modern take on a classic rugby!
I was hesitant about this rugby after reading the reviews. However, I am so glad I went for it as I had been eyeing it for weeks. Love the fit, it’s perfect. It is just long enough to tuck the front if you would like. The cotton is soft and comfortable. I have received so many compliments!

Not like the last one I bought
I was so excited to see a rugby shirt back. However The raglan sleeves are sloppy and too long. Plus no buttons.
I bought my first one 4 years ago I loved that style and cut 100 % more.

not a rugby shirt !!!
this is in no stretch of imagination a rugby shirt...where to start: the length is short, the material thin, no buttons, beige collar. Come on L.L.Bean, you can do better! please bring back your original rugby shirt, that was a classic for the ages!

Great Rugby shirt
As a kid of the 90's, I loved my rugby shirts. This is an updated style with more boxy torso and no cuffs, which I am fine with. It also helped that the black/gold color is the color of my kid's college so she and I both got a shirt. It is a nice contemporary update to the classic rugby. I just need to to cool off so I can wear it.
