Worth a try
Have worn these shoes for several months now and they are very comfortable. However, it did take a few days to "break them in" where they hit my ankle bone. Fortunately that is now all in the past.

Defect in 1 shoe
I had high hopes for these shoes! Sadly when they arrived and I tried them on, I quickly noticed an uncomfortable rubbing along the ankle area of my left shoe. Thinking maybe my ankle was a little swollen or something, I set them aside and tried again a few days later but had the same results. I thought maybe it was just me but when my mom, who wears the same size, tried them on she had the exact same problem- an uncomfortable rubbing along the left ankle. I returned them.

Excellent shoes
Very happy with these “hiking” shoes which i’ve so far only worn while walking on pavement. These work great with a non prescription (“Pinnacle Maxx”) orthotic for plantar fasciitis. Traction is excellent but I haven’t used in real icy conditions yet. Will add clamp on ice cleats if needed.

Definitely waterproof
I bought the boots first and loved them since these are the first shoes that are actually waterproof and keep my feet warm and dry.
My only complaint is are the shoelaces. No matter how tight I make them and double knot them they loosen up. Not a deal breaker, but makes the shoes feel a bit different when walking. I did try to put different laces on them, but getting any other laces to fit doesn’t work since the originals seems to be thinner than others I’ve tried.

A little too heavy
I wanted these shoes for winter walking and trail walking especially because of the tread on the soles. They were comfortable for my narrow foot, but they are heavier than I wanted, so I sent them back.

Solid shoe
This is a solid shoe with great heal support. I wear it to work where I stand all day. I am pleasantly surprised. Nice looking, too.
