sleeves too short, boxy
I ordered this in light blue in an XS and the sleeves were too short, plus the overall fit was boxy and unflattering on me. Sizing up may have helped with the sleeves but would have only gotten boxier, so I returned this. 5’11” and 125 lbs for reference

Size down! This is short and wide. I normally wear a medium but had to get a small. Then after washing it shrank lengthwise to 21.5" (from center back). I am just under 5'7"" so this is too short. Other than that it is a comfortable and versatile sweater.

Poor fit
Nice fabric, nice plum color. I wear petite S or M in LLB styles, and I bought this in small. I find Bean’s “slightly fitted” description to frequently be inaccurate. This was boxy and unflattering. Returning.

Nice warm sweater
The material is soft and warm. I always take a women's size large in LL Bean but this sweater is a bit large. It's roomy enough for me to wear a thick layer under for out New England winter days so I am keeping it.
