THE SHORT, LONG OF IT
I was 👀 looking up these wide leg chinos & pondered why I haven’t purchased these before. Hi. (I had) POST READING REVIEWS; LIGHTBULB MOMENT: They do say & the pic does show them as ANKLE length. Many reviewers griped TOO SHORT. TALL Inseam is only 30”, for true flares need @ least 32” floor length 33-34 heals) SO IF YOU LIKE ANKLE LENGTH (don’t know why you would, unless clamming, WICH I don’t, these WILL NOT DO. WHAT WOULD BE NICE, as many seem to indicate: A FINE SET OF LOWER MID RISE FLARES IN THIS CHINO STYLE. IM 5’3” 100-105 lbs >65 yrs. Very long legs (32” inseam flat footed, if heals + 1-2” , in my older yrs.) I wear a 4 - 6. Athletic build short torso (only length for a slight waist line, , so LL BN lower mid rise are mid rise on me. ) I like lower rise, & if high I need to roll over waist band 1x - 2x OR $$$ to fix, lest waistband hit my chest) BUT THATS MY ISSUE. THE MORE USER DILEMMA IS: INCREASED INSEAMS. LL BN LISTENING? Two stars⭐️⭐️, they don’t meet my need. Not an otherwise fine quality score. Recommend to others, YES I have numerous friends unlike I with long torso & short legs , but are not of a petite fit. They would save $$, no alterations .

Sized for short people
I bought these thinking I would fit into the 18 mediumtall because they have 1% spandex. But really I need the 18W mediumtall which is not offered. Sadly, I returned them. I liked the soft fabric, colors, and wide legs. Why would you offer plus size 18W in 28" inseam? What are us mediumtall, curvy women to do?

I’m really happy I ordered these chinos!
I take all the reviews seriously but then decided to try these and they fit great! The rise fits great and I thought the wide length would overwhelm me but no, they are a nice length. I like that Beans is carrying these wide leg styles. Ordered 12P. They work for my 5’2” hour glass figure, not as thin as I used to be but feel way more confident.

Wrong style for me
I’m a devoted and almost exclusive LLB shopper, but unfortunately I chose the wrong style this time. I was looking for some sturdy-made pants that weren’t jeans, but the wide leg fit didn’t look right on me. They fit well at waist and hips, so I will keep looking for a style I like better.

Stylish and Comfortable
I'm very happy with my purchase of these pants in navy and beige. They fit perfectly and have generous pockets which has become a rarity in women's clothing. They are perfect year round for Northern California weather.
