I regret buying these
I am so unhappy with this purchase. These shorts were way too big. I ordered a 16, but they were more like a 20. Plus the fabric was a lint magnet; unpleasant. I loved the Bayside Twills, but you e discontinued them. Now the rip stop shorts arrived today but are too big again. Large was supposed to be 14-16. LLBean is no longer trustworthy.

Love these pants!
Great quality as expected from LLB! Very comfortable, well made, good fit. Fabric is soft, fairly heavy and a little stretchy. I had to size down because of the stretch. The straight legs are more slender than some of Bean's straight leg pants, so not frumpy at all. The back pockets are deep enough to hold my iphone 16e (kind of small phone). The front pockets could be a little deeper but are OK - they do safely hold my car keys. My only real complaint is that I prefer high waist pants and these are favorite fit (not my favorite!) but I like them so much I am keeping them. I bought the faded sage and like the color. Overall, I love these pants and will buy other colors. Also, I have the bermuda shorts version of these pants and they washed well (I used cool water, hung to dry).
