The first sweatshirt I returned because the hem was unraveling. Lots of loose threads after first wash. I. exchanged for the same product, size and color. The 2nd one did the same thing. Hem unraveling. UGH. Its not worth the headache of returning again. I'll use it as a painting / outdoor shirt. Lightweight sweatshirt yes but scratchy, not soft at all. BTW "there are reviews" stating the hem unraveling. I only scrolled back to Nov 2025. Interesting.

Quality fabric and fit
Lightweight yet durable substantial material, fit from LL Bean is almost always standardized. Very pleased with this shirt, hope they start to offer it also in solid colors.

Really nice look!
I'm 5'3", but still bought the regular L size...because when I wash our laundry, I usually have to do it on hot, then regular in the dryer. It was quite big large when I tried it on, but after washing, it was the perfect size!!! I really prefer slightly looser shirts to make room for a top underneath (plus other injury issues). And even without that underneath top, it still fits great!

Great top!
This top is so comfortable. I bought the navy stripe which I love, it's so bright. I normally wear a M regular but I purchased a L for this. I wanted comfort and I like longer sleeves. Medium probably would have been fine.
