Great 100% Cotton Lightweight Hoodie!
I was looking for a jacket to replace Bean’s Ultrasoft Sweat Full Zip which was 100% cotton and now has been discontinued. This hoodie is more lightweight, but it does have a hood and is comfortable. I found it to run a bit large, but it was a perfect fit after washing and drying. I will also wear it with layers so I do find that a little extra room in a lightweight jacket can be a good thing.

Soft Cotton and Flattering Fit Hoodie
I originally purchased this hoodie in Large Regular, and loved it so much that I ordered three more in different colors to match my L.L. Bean Pima cotton T-shirts. The colors coordinate perfectly with other L.L. Bean tops as you can see from the pictures. For reference, I normally wear a size 12 in tops and 14 in bottoms, and the Large fits me nicely—slightly loose but still shaped through the body, not boxy.
There was one color I wanted that was sold out in Large Regular, so I purchased it in a Medium Petite. To my surprise, it fit beautifully too—the main difference is that the sleeves and body length are a little shorter, which I actually like. Both sizes work for me, just with slightly different fits.
The cotton fabric is incredibly silky soft, the colors are beautifully rich and the hoodie layers perfectly over tees without feeling bulky. This has become one of my favorite wardrobe staples, and I’m thrilled to have it in multiple shades. I would love it and more colors.I also Please make a hoodless zip up sweatshirt in the same material.

Perfect Weight/Warmth
The Peaks Island full-zip sweatshirt is my new go-to. Perfect for around the house/AC or during the transitions of warmer seasons. Fit is comfortable, not too loose or tight. I will be buying additional colors. Purchased in my usual size (S). Highly recommend.

Perfect for fall

Not your typical sweatshirt.
I don’t recall any mention of an insert of a stretchy fabric approximately 4 inches wide that runs down both side seams of this sweatshirt. It’s not sweatshirt fabric and I think it takes away from the look of the jacket. In addition it’s a thin fabric and I feel it will be the 1st thing that fails . The fit was ok but the sweatshirt fabric is not particularly comfortable or soft .

Tough sweater!
This is my second sweater. A dog jumped on me staining my favorite white sweater! Washed 5 times and sent to cleaners. Mud was still there. Always use cold water and no dryer for stains.

Runs small
Nice lightweight fabric but runs much smaller than other LLBean hoodies. Also too expensive at the regular price IMO. Did not feel that I was grimy moneys worth.
