- In a soft, made-to-move blend of 50% recycled polyester and 50% Elasterell-P with Sorona®.
- Water- and abrasion-resistant fabric wicks moisture and dries quickly.

Excellent - but shallow front pockets
They are excellent pants. They fit the body well and stretch when needed. They look nice enough to be worn as dress pants with the comfort needed for every day wear. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is that the front pockets are too shallow. Things fall out of the front pockets after getting up and down. Much shallower than past models of LL Bean hiking pants.

So comfy and stylish
I bought 3 pair of these for a Christmas market tour to Europe. I wanted something water repellent in case of rain and snow. These pants worked so well in the 3 days of rain and snow! I wore thermal tights underneath since the temp was in the 30s . My legs were never cold nor wet. Even better they were extremely comfortable walking and hopping in and out of trains and trams. I highly recommend them!

My favorite pants
I have loved the Mountainside Shorts and was hoping for a long pants version -- and this is it. The slightly stretchy fabric feels and looks great, and the pockets are the right sizes and locations for my phone and other essentials. I especially like having a snap closure instead of a button -- much easier to use in rugged settings and any other time. These immediately became my favorite pants for hiking, running errands, and all day.

Not what i expected
I ordered on line and used the sizing guide. I usually wear a size 6 but these were more like a size 8. Based on the description I thought they were going to be a warmer pant for cooler fall weather, but definitely not a cold weather pant.

Amazing feel and fit!
Bought 2 pair of these pants for an upcoming trip. They r so comfortable! They look too nice for hiking! They have a great fit, and the cargo pockets lie down nicely along the pant leg. Looking forward to wearing them on my trip!
