Where is the women's version?
As a woman who does not want to wear polyester microfleece, i.e., microplastic, I'm disappointed to find only a single non-polyester option for a cozy winter vest. Luckily, I'm tall enough that I can wear this man's version -- but I would love to purchase one that's cut for women. Why not offer a vest in a cotton sweatshirt material? There are none to be found anywhere, this could be a great option for LLB.

Nice, but only nice
I really wanted to love this vest. Polyester fleece makes a very comfortable and warm vest, but fleece is a total sawdust magnet, impossible to keep clean. I was hoping this cotton vest would be more like sweatshirt material and not such a mess in the shop. Alas, Bean's designers chose to brush the face of this vest, and that, along with some polyester, makes this vest only suited for the office, not for getting dirty. If only Bean would bring back their Athletic Sweats and create a great vest using the same fabric!

the Blue Jacket Travails ....
Bought the Vest to go under the Jacket .... to keep gear in the pockets from falling out. Work as a Professional Land Surveyor .... need to look presentable and be able to function. Could be better in the wind and snug-up at the waist. Nice jacket-vest combo ... wore my last Bean Jacket ... wool, nylon lined ... for a good 20-years !

Great mid weight fleece vest. Somewhat of a tweener between golf and hiking vests. Fits great and layers well - maybe a little more refined than the Mountain Classic vest.
