We've redesigned our best pack ever. It's been updated with new, durable recycled main body fabric, tough 600D Kodra bottom and a rugged 210D nylon lining. Excellent every day bag
I bought this bag looking for a larger everyday carry that I could also use for the outdoors, and was pleasantly surprised with the size and capacity of its pockets. the two side pockets fit my 28oz Yeti easily, instead of it having to sit loosely in the bag like I had initially expected to have to do, and the laptop pouch was more than big enough for a 16" laptop. As a whole the storage capacity as well as the style are great. Highly recommend!

Traveling man backpack
I am a long time LL Bean customer. I bought this bag for business airline travel. I have several LL Bean bags for daily use and love all of them. The only downside on this backpack is that the top flap zipper compartment opening is too small in my opinion. I can hardly fit my hand inside. Otherwise, a completely functional bag. The very first time I wore it I received a random complement of "I like your bag". Nevertheless, I'm happy to recommend.

Very sturdy day pack
I purchased this product several months ago. Recently, I gave in great real life test. Visited 5 national parks. Death Valley was the most extreme. This pack allowed me to carry 6 nalgene bottles full of water and / or sports drink. I had layers, First aid supplies, spare socks, trail food, bananas, a sat phone, and bivy sack for emergencies.
This rucksack was sturdy and comfortable. The back was padded and wicked moisture. I like how you could clip the straps near your chest. Also real good adjustable hip straps. The rucksack helped keep balance as it fit snug but not too tight. Traversing sand, crushed gravel, stones, and rock scrambling.
Great experience over multiple day hikes.
Look forward to many years of use.
