Love the boot but toe cover has started coming off
As the title says, I love this boot. I have used them for a 2.5 week trip with (kid-friendly) outdoor walks + one day with another kid-friendly outdoor hike. They have provided great support, and I have found them quite comfortable (though I have used an aftermarket insole). Unfortunately, as has happened with other boots in these reviews (at least one of these was purchased around the same time as mine), the rubber toe cover/guard has begun to pull away from the shoe. It's not bad at the moment, but has started after (the described) minimal use over the handful of months that I have owned them. Apart from this, I would have recommended them, but it appears that the boot construction—or, maybe just a batch—may have QC issues. I expect L.L. Bean products not to begin showing signs of breaking down like thin within a few months of very light usage.

Great boots!
These boots are super comfortable and true to size. I could wear these all day long and never even think about them being hiking boots because they are so comfortable. Probably some of the best hikers I've ever worn.

Love the materials, colors, comfort fit.
I was hoping that these hiking boots, very good boots and I'm happy, were as cloud soft as recent sneakers I've purchased. They are not what I was hoping for but I'm going to keep them and give an older, perfectly good pair away.

Best new purchase
Bought these boots 4 days before going on a 10 day camping trip to Wyoming. Very little break in time and wore them 12-14 hours each day. Extremely comfortable. Kept my feet dry. Best purchase I have made this year.
