I've had a pair of bean boots for many years that needed to be replaced. I got these and noticed they were a different style than what I had. They don't have the traditional ties. They have the flap with one tie over top. I tie them tight they just don't fit right. They slide off as I'm walking. I don't understand why they had to change these because the fit is terrible. I wish I had kept my old ones.

Easy slip on waterproof boots perfect for PNW
Size is a full size down from my normal, ie: 61/2 fits exactly like my normal 71/2, good quality, well made. The arch is a bit high but still very new, will need the “break in “ time.

Great Mocs!
Love these shoes. Have worn them for years doing chores on the farm with our animals. Had to send this pair back because they ran big. Haven’t had to order them in awhile because they last so long. Waiting for them to send me a smaller size.

Not your old, favorite Bean Boot anymore
I am replacing my Bean Boots that I bought about 10 years ago. I loved them. But the new ones are made more cheaply and do not fit as well or look as good as the old style. They removed the metal reinforcements in the holes, and changed the cut of the tongue, obviously to make the shoe more cheaply, but it ruined the look. I’d rather pay another $10 and have the good construction! I guess I’ll keep them, because they are adequate, but the iconic LL Bean look is GONE. Very disappointing.
