Durable with long life !
Bought my first pair of Gumshoes in 1980 ! They just wore out this winter, 46 years of perfection ! New ones fit perfect and comfy ! Remember to order a half size down for the right fit !

Overall disappointed in the quality
The tongue of the boot is too short, and tends to disappear into the shoe when I put it on. The shoelaces supplied were too short, so I had to purchase a longer pair. The shoe does not feel as sturdy as I expected (from past purchases of LLBean shoes, albeit not this style). The sole, the rubber portion, and the leather upper are all thinner and less firm than I think is appropriate for a boot that is to be worn in the rain or when working in a muddy area. For example, I don't think I should be able to bend the sole so easily. (I cannot bend the sole of the hiking boots I bought at LLBean.)
