great boots, but short laces!
Nice boots - sized down for a perfect fit . . .
BUT, about the laces: the included laces are barely long enough to tie. The need to purchase replacement laces for a brand new pair of boots is ridiculous. (yes, I called, but declined the offered 45" pair to replace 27")

Love these boots, however need 32” laces
I love these LLBean boots. I wear them every day to take my dog out in the yard. However, I need to slip into these boots quickly and prefer a classic Eastland knot. I was bummed to realize they come with 27” laces and I needed to find 32” laces for the Eastland knot. I had t o search and order some from Red Wing Shoes. Now they are perfect! LLBean please sell these boots with 32” laces and/or sell replacement laces in various sizes so folks can customize. I ordered a size 8 Women’s when I usually wear a size 9 shoe. Sharing to help others as you don’t want to pass up these boots because of laces.

Love these shoes
I can’t stand walking around in wet shoes. These are perfect for a rainy day and very comfortable if you are on your feet a lot.

Great shoes, good advice on size.
Great shoes. I was a little hesitant to purchase given the advice related to shoe size. I highly recommend that anyone purchasing these shoes pay attention to the size. My normal shoe size 6.5, so I took their advice of 5.5 and they fit perfectly.

Waterproof, shoe strings too short
I'm sure these will be quite waterproof for my trip to Alaska. Not the most comfortable shoe I have walked in; not much arch support. Also, the shoe strings are too short - I had to order longer ones to be able to tie these shoes.

Good shoes for gardening or working in dirt
I find these shoes to be quite comfortable. Not like cushy running shoes, but still fine. As LLBean says, they run large, so be sure to follow their advice on size. Since they don't have lug soles, the shoes don't pick up much dirt, which is great.
