Bad Velcro
The hiking boots themselves are great—comfortable, sturdy, and good for hiking. Unfortunately, the main problem is the Velcro straps that act as shoelaces. They constantly come loose while hiking, which is frustrating and makes the boots less reliable. Because the Velcro doesn’t have enough surface area to properly stick and hold the laces together when I tighten them. There isn’t enough Velcro overlap to keep them securely fastened. I really wish the fastening system were improved because otherwise, I like the boots

Very rugged. Would recommend.
My 9 year old son loves these boots. I was skeptical of the price but my mom bought them and they do not disappoint. He’s had them almost a year and they’re what he wears daily. Mud, rocks, water, tree climbing, chicken poop, Scouts. They will be handed down to my youngest. They clean up nicely.

Waterproof and easy on!
My grandson age 4, can put them on all by himself. They are comfortable and keep him warm and dry on damp outside adventures.
