A seriously soft and substantial half-zip sweatshirt in a long-lasting cotton/polyester blend. Our heavyweight fabric is brushed on the inside for an extra-cozy feel.
The Katahdin Iron Works operated in the north woods for much of the 19th century, employing thousands of hardworking Mainers. Inspired by their grit and strength, we designed our Katahdin Iron Works line of rugged work clothes to stand up to all kinds of rough use.

My favorite sweatshirt!
Great sweatshirt, very warm, probably the heaviest Bean's sells now, small is a perfect fit ( 137 lbs., 5' 6"), collar negates the need for a scarf on our early morning walks on the Eastern Shore of Maryland, love the light blue color! Don't like the logo tag, but the stitching is fairly easy to remove and leaves no marks. Highly recommended.

Great design faulty sizing
Great weight. Great design. 1/4 zip with collar& pockets. I love the bold llbean label. Adds character. Now for the BAD.... sizing is one size too large. Thats llbeans fault for going import. Next is the floppy.sloppy.wimpy waist band. Ruins the look and cant use itvfor business cause too sloppy. I shouldve gotten an xl i stead of xxl!!!

It feels like a real sweatshirt & cozy
Great fabric and feel. Fit seems a bit large and long. I added elastic to the bottom band because without it it looked like a dress on me.

Like the update on this sweatshirt!
Glad that the quarter zip sweatshirt is back, liked the lighter weight at the zipper area, it has less layering, and less bulk. It fits a little different than before, not snug at the waist. A little lighter weight too.
