A seriously soft and substantial half-zip sweatshirt in a long-lasting cotton/polyester blend. Our heavyweight fabric is brushed on the inside for an extra-cozy feel.
The Katahdin Iron Works operated in the north woods for much of the 19th century, employing thousands of hardworking Mainers. Inspired by their grit and strength, we designed our Katahdin Iron Works line of rugged work clothes to stand up to all kinds of rough use.

Great sweatshirt
This is one nice sweatshirt, half zip adds versatility. Fabric is really soft and warm without the bulk. Really well made and is roomy for extra layering.

Most comfortable ever!

"Large" is a little too large...
Seems to generally be a comfortable pull-over, although the large size is too large for me. Also, after washing, the item was covered with tiny lint bits. Hopefully this would rapidly diminish with additional laundering. For now, I'm returning for a "medium."

It seems well made but nowhere near as heavy as the quarter zips that beanie decided to discontinue 2 years ago. My only real complaint is that there is no fabric on the inside of the zipper, basically forces you to wear a shirt underneath or you feel the cold zipper track. BRING BACK THE QUARTER ZIPS

The Best!
Very impressed with the build, fit and warmth the fleece interior provides. I have laundered it twice and it comes out wrinkle free.
Very hard to find a quality sweatshirt material 1/4 or 1/2 zip with the kangaroo pouch these days, LL Bean is the best out there right now, they ain't cheap but you get what you pay for!
