Runs a little small
We purchased this as an exchange gift for our daughter for Christmas. The first sweater was also a small and fit to a tea. This one (unusual for LL Bean) was a little small and we plan to order the next size for her. Great sweater - very soft. She thought the zippers were a nice detail.

Waffles are my favorite.

Poor material
I love LL Bean, a majority of my tops and sweaters are from LL Bean. This sweater is made of poor quality material. I received for Christmas and the material appears worn after only 2 wears.Disappointing quality.

Just Not The Same Somehow
Earlier in 2025 I purchased two of these, one in white and one in black. THOSE sweaters are fabulous! The two I purchased a few weeks ago couldn’t be more different. The two most recently purchased sweaters are not soft. They are not fluffy and they are not comfortable. They look and feel matted. You know…like matted fur or hair. They are not soft. They feel like crafting felt against my skin. They do not have that luxe look, either. These new sweaters do not fit well. They are the same size as the previous one I bought but these are just ever so slightly smaller, all over. They are ok to wear around the house or working in the yard. I can’t wear them out in public.

Not good quality
I washed the sweater one time and it pilled so badly it could not be worn. I have seen better quality sweaters in a thrift store. L.L. Bean is not what it used to be. After 50 years of shopping here, it’s time for me to move on.

So soft and comfy
Sweater is made well and very soft! It exceeded my expectations and I love wearing it in cold weather. Washes well (delicate cycle and lay flat to dry) and looks great.
