Poor quality
As soon as I took the sweater out of the package I was concerned about the fabric pilling. I was right. Two wearings and a wash and it’s pilling all over. Yes it is soft and the color is rich red but for $99 I expect better quality from LLBean. The zippers on the side seams at the hip are also unnecessary and annoying and just a poor design feature. If you want a cheap sweater, you can find something similar online from a well known mega retailer.

Cozy, good-looking sweater
I love the feel and look of this sweater. The turtleneck is long enough to fold in thirds, and my neck is fairly long, so it's really cozy.

Attractive, soft and warm...but
Attractive, soft and warm....but it picks immediately after two wears, several picks and I am not hard on clothes and do not even wear a full day, only had it on a couple hours each time. Appalled at the look of pills in a sweater, meaning now it cannot leave the house! Total waste of money.

Artificial feel to the material
Pros: loved the color, fit and look of this sweater Cons: not a fan of whatever the combination of material used for these sweaters- doesn’t “feel” like cotton or wool -feels like plastic? Sadly returned for that reason

I'm not rating the turtleneck sweater, instead, the rating is for the site it's posted on. I give 3-⭐️'s for nice photos. It's too bad.... I LOVE the look of the turtleneck, but will not know where it's available. 🤷♀️
