Opening not big enough to fit my foot in.
I ordered a 11 wide , never got to get them on my foot because the opening for the boot is so small my foot would not fit in the opening.
I have never had this problem with any other boots before!
Very poorly designed, you would think LLBean would have thought this out better for the price they get for them! Now I gotta pay to send back a poorly designed product!

If your shoes are 12W order the 13W
Finally a shoe from LL Bean that fits! I have a high arch so the zip front is mandatory for me. The Bean size app says that if my New Balance is 12 4EE, that 12W should fit. NO! However, 13 W does. This will primarily be my outdoor muck shoe: blow leaves, dig dirt, light snow shoveling. Have used the Bean Mocs for over 40 years and got tired of stuff getting in around the socks. So far, comfortable on walks as well. I wear athletic socks with these so there's no chafing around the top.

Boots are probably OK for some people but not for me. They are too small at the top so they are very difficult to get on and off. Swapped them for regular Bean boots with zipper on the front. Much, much easier to get on and off.

Unlike the shorter version of this boot, these are a real struggle to get on. The leather tops are too thin and too narrow and bend easily when trying to put them on.

Nice boot but runs a little small
Appears to be well made and is warm, I think. I say that because I had exactly 1 opportunity to wear them, so far. The weather in the Boston area hasn't been too snowy, or even very cold. But, I like the style and the price was right.
