Wanted to love them
Fell in love with the style and when they came in they are too wide. I wear an 8 1/2 and rarely have trouble with the width. The shoe is too stiff and no arch support. Too clunky. Tried wearing them in the house and only lasted an hour. I am a faithful L.L.Bean customer so I am surprised these didn't meet their quality.

Just what I needed
Got these for Christmas and I haven't taken them off since. Footbed is cushioned and comfy. The sole is sticky rubber so great on snow surfaces. I bought an 8 (usually wear 7.5) so I could wear with thicker socks. They look dressy with jeans but are super practical. Love them!

Very Comfortable
I purchased a Size 10 which is my normal size. I have a narrow foot and these are a little wide for me but that is normal for me. I found that the size is true. Although these look as though they could be heavy, I didn't really experience that as they feel like a nice quality shoe. They have a true rubber sole which will help in snowy conditions.
The only concern that I have with them is that when you have a sock on (as you should have), it makes them very slick on the insole. I remediated this by applying a bootie sock over the sole and now I don't slide in them. I'm sure there may be other options for this but it works. Other than that, I would have given a 5 star review.

Cute but not comfortable
These shoes are not comfortable. They are very heavy and the leather is so stiff it makes my toes hurt when walking.
