I wish there was a size in between the medium and the large because even though I do have an 80 pound chocolate lab, the medium could actually be a little tiny bit larger and fit him perfectly but I have two of the large size and there’s a lot of excess room The canvas covers are extremely durable and I have had my longest L.L. Bean orthopedic bed for probably eight years and my newest one for only a month or so and they are very well-made. One criticism I have is that when you take the cover off for laundering they do shrink which makes it really difficult to get the mattress back inside the cover.

Rated 1 de 5 de Jes_ par Poor Quality Dog Bed Cover have the same bed I purchased a few years ago and it's a nice, thick denim material and still looks as good as new. I wanted to purchase another one but the material of the cover has changed substantially. It used to be 100% cotton (I just looked at the tag of the bed I have) but now it's a polyester blend. I am returning and will search elsewhere. Bring back the old cover please!

We still have the older two as they are still in good shape and made with excellent quality. The one we received today is for the new pup . I am so disappointed in the quality of it. The cover is much thinner and I believe it will end up ripping. The inside is loose and thin unlike the older beds, which were very thick and heavy. I think I could have done better at Costco.

Rated 3 de 5 de Lori par Lower Quality I have owned several large breed dogs,and several XL large LLBean dog beds.I have always loved the very heavy ,sturdy fabric covers.The XL Therapeutic dog bed ,priced at nearly $300,is not of good quality.The fabric cover is thin and flimsy.The foam is like an egg crate used on a college bed.It is tearing just from normal wear(dog is gentle...not a chewer/digger etc...) Sad to see the change.

Rated 1 de 5 de Nate par Decline in quality I grew up in Maine buying Bean products for my entire life, and have owned 3 of these therapeutic dog beds in the past. However there is an obvious decline in quality and cutting corners with materials. The cover was previously a thick sturdy 100% cotton denim, but is now a thin and slick polyester-cotton blend. At this price, this is unacceptable and feels similar to $30 big box store dog beds. Sadly I’ll be taking my business elsewhere in the future.
