I agree with other reviewers that the background color of LLBean’s birch comforter cover isn’t pleasing. In daylight, it’s a nondescript khaki. Under warm (2700 K) light, however, the color looks slightly peach and is much more attractive. The comforter cover is cotton, so it wrinkles, which shouldn’t have surprised me. I bought this particular pattern because its busy and irregular. I figured it would hide the inevitable hole my cats put in fabric while playing. Sure enough, there’s already a hole, but it’s hard to see, which means the cats won’t pick at it and enlarge it. The cats approve of the tight weave and smooth surface of the fabric. Perfect for play, they would say. I approve of the hidden buttons to close the comforter cover. I like this cover, but, because of the background color, I don’t love it.
