Runs very small. I’m usually a size 4-6 depending on the brand. Ordered a size 6 and couldn’t fit in them. Returned and ordered two pairs from another retailer, same size and it fits.

Edges not finished
These were the second pair I bought and they were not hemmed. The other pair was. The edges were just rawly cut. It was easier for me to have them hemmed instead of sending them back.

Wouldn't be Caught Dead!
I am 78 years old, wear LL Bean skinny leg pull up jeans. I never, ever wore jeans like these. Too short, with too little flare to the boot cut. For me, the high rise would result in a droopy hanging down crotch. From the bulk of the reviews, I can read that few women liked this style, so it ends up on the Sale Page. I see LL Bean as more of a quality, all round jean manufacturer than one that follows impractical fashios. Well, most of the time.

Great fitting jeans
I'm lovin' these jeans! I returned a petite pair because they were too short. The regular are perfect with thick-soled clogs. The high-rise waist is very comfortable.

Negative: runs small; I have size 12 LL Bean jeans that fit well; I needed a size 14 in these
I am 5', 140 #
Largest negative: these pants come with no hem, just a cut bottom! I had to pay $15 to have them hemmed.
