One of the essentials.
This is a super lightweight go everywhere jacket. I pack it on all my trips. I can layer it under a rain shell. Perfect for the chili restaurant or overly air-conditioned. Mega store. Soft and comfortable. A definite must have.

Do. Not. Buy.
I am very prone to skin cancer and look for SPF rated shirts. I bought this one because it stated it was good in warm conditions as well as cool. First off the fit (L) is huge for my 5'11" 165 pound frame. Secondly and more importantly, it is far too heavy even for 55- 60 degree days. So, it is an absolute no go for these 70 degree days. It now sits in a closet never to be worn again. Sadly, I tried wearing it for 2 walks before determining how much I hated it or would have returned.
The single worst item I have ever purchased from LL Bean, Full Stop.

Sleeves too long
I got mens medium but the sleeves were way too long. Returned it and got a women's medium, which was much better. Also the womens had zippered pockets and no breast pocket, which was a better arrangement. The jacket itself was fine if it fits. I like the layout of the womens model better.
