Definitely Not A Flannel.
Terrible. The picture in the catalogue and on line looked like a flannel shirt but when I received the shirt the material definitely did not have the soft flannel feel. The fabric felt very course and was sheer. The weight of the material was more of what one would expect of a summer shirt. While the pattern and color of the shirt was appealing, it definitely DID NOT live up to the description of being a flannel shirt. I immediately returned the shirt to L.L. Bean.

Warm and comfirtable
I bought the same shirt about a month ago and liked it so much, I bought another one in a different color. This is a warm shirt and it having a shorter hem is nice so I can wear it untucked and it doesn't hang half way to my knees.

Great color
Love this color of flannel shirt but they don’t have it available for women so I bought a men’s small (I’m a medium in the women’s). Sleeves are a bit long and it’s tight through the hips but otherwise OK. I wish LL Bean would offer a soft green color for women as well.
