Terribly designed, hard to assemble, looks cute
This looks great but honestly if my husband wasn’t a handyman, I would have sent it back. I gave up after step 1. He broke out the power tools for the remainder of this “no tools needed” assembly process. It still took over an hour because the holes are so in accessible. Not worth the headache.

VERY difficult to put together.
This item is very difficult to put together. The parts involving the Allen wrench took approximately 2 1/2 hours . I am nearly to the point that I may give up on it and send it back to L.L. Bean. The bracket holes do not line up.. it is nearly impossible to put the brackets in because of the tight space and misalignment. The screws are cheap and keep stripping. L.L. Bean should either sell this thing preconstructed or totally redesign it. I do not recommend this at all.
