A Real Find - Solid Black Merino Wool
This is a high quality merino wool, beautiful in black. I purchased one size up so I could comfortably fit a cotton turtleneck underneath. I do think the mock neck will be a bit itchy , as others have written. Layering is important to me, as I will be taking this with me to Alaska in a few months.

Maine Guide mock neck wool sweater.
Lovely sweater, the sleeves were long enough, nice weight. The parches on the arms will extend wear. I love wool but am sensitive to it. Unfortunately the mock neck was too tight to allow for layering. Had it been a crew neck, I would have kept it.

Well made, warm sweater that should last for years
Thick, warm sweater, made with 100% merino wool. Cute add-on with contrasting pocket and elbow covers. LLBean sizes differ for me. Wish they were more consistent. I bought an XS in this sweater.

Nice Sweater
I'm 5'9" w/long arms and the sleeves were a bit short. I expect any wool to be itchy w/o a t-neck underneath and this was no exception. The sweater was well made and medium weight. It was however a bit long and while it had plenty of room in the tummy/mid area, it had more room there than I needed and thus wasn't flattering.

Warm and stylish
I love the fit and the style of this sweater. I love wool and can handle the itch. However I knocked off one star because I feel the design team should have lined the collar with something else. I usually don't mind the feel of wool against my skin, but the collar on this started giving me a rash on my neck and I had to take it off before the day was over. Line the collar with something and this is perfect and I would buy more.
