Sherpa Coat a Disappoinment
I've been looking for a fuzzy sherpa fleece coat or longer jacket for a while and I really wanted to love this one. The style was great, I liked the color....BUT...the fabric/fleece was a disappointment. The fleece felt cheap and not really soft...it kind of looked like it had already been worn out. You know those cheap fleece garments you buy and 6 months later they look pilled and worn? The side seams looked a little puckered and didn't lie flat. I think I tried it on 6 times and really tried to like it, but in the end, I felt like it was a lot of money for something that just didn't feel like the quality i expected from LL Bean. it was returned and now i won't be buying any of the other fleece styles I liked from the photos on the LL Bean site. Sorry, folks, this missed the mark.

Perfect Fall jacket
I got a Petite L black. This is such a versatile jacket! It instantly makes me warm on chilly Massachusetts Fall mornings. It has pockets for dog treats and bags and is roomy enough to work up a bit of a sweat and not feel restricted. I love the soft interior. It’s my new favorite Fall jacket.

Small sleeves
I ordered a large for plenty of room for layers in cold weather. However, the cut of this coat in the sleeves and across the back is uncomfortably snug....no room for layers at all. I am not a large person but have ordered an extra-large, hoping for a better fit....

sizing is off
Now I inow why this coat is on sale. I am an LL Bean petite M but ordered in large because it was the only size left and I thought I could wear a thick sweater underneath. I couldn't even button it and the arms were very right. It's a great coat but I can't remember that a size 12 P buy a large.

Love the look.
The width of the sleeves are too tight. Even if you go up a size they get longer but not wider. Most likely will not be able to wear a heavy sweatshirt underneath. Purchased it anyway because I love the look.
