Looks nice but not very warm
As other reviews mention this coat is super thin. I finally had a chance to wear the coat and it did not keep me as warm as I would have expected. I have had other “warmer” rated coats from LL Bean over the years and find them good for winter temps when it’s not snowing. I wore a vest under this jacket and was still feeling chilly while at an outdoor event in the dark. It is a nice looking coat but will not be a go to outside of the late fall temps that New England gets.

Well made, good fit
Just what I wanted. I'm already wearing it for shopping, coffeetime, around town in 12 degree weather. Good length to cover longer cardigans, nice weight for car travel. I like the grey color to go with my basic colors, black, grey and navy.

I was hopeful
I really wanted to love this coat but for the price I just could not justify keeping it. First of all the pockets are not fleece lined and they snap shut! Really? Also there is not a single slip pocket inside. How hard would it be just to add one to either side or even just have one? You can’t comfortably fit the phone in the snap pocket either. I did like the fit and style but I found a competitors brand for nearly half of this , the zippered (!) pockets are lined with fleece and there’s one internal pouch that fits my phone. Imagine that.

Winter hasn't really hit yet, though we've had a few cold days. Loving the coat so far...super lightweight....waiting for shoveling during lake effect snow. For me, the top and bottom zip totally rock!
