Perfect flannel shirt!
I love everything about this flannel shirt. The material is soft and feels durable, and the fleece lining makes this shirt very warm. The sleeves are insulated, it has great pockets (I love pockets), and it uses snap buttons, which I much prefer over buttons. Great for layering during the colder months. Made with excellence!
Only suggestion: Need more colors!

Shedding issue!
The quality you would expect from LL Bean and a very nice piece, until you wear it. The plus pile in the body of the jacket sheds horribly. I tired washing to see if that would reduce the shed and it did not. So if you want a jacket for jeans, this is wonderful. If you want to were with black outdoor pants this is not your jacket!!!!!!

Warm and comfortable, but wash/dry before wearing!
I bought this shirt-jacket to help ward off the chills of the Fall days in New England. I find it warm and comfortable, and especially like the slanted front pockets. I made the mistake of wearing it straight out of the bag, and there was an awful lot of shedding of the fleece lining on my pants and base tee shirt. The shedding is greatly reduced now that it has been through a washer/dryer cycle.
The fit seems true and I’m happy with the purchase.

Very nice jacket
Very nice jacket. My new town jacket is warm, fits well, sleeves are long and down to my hands. I like the hand warmer pockets but with the chest pockets had flaps. Great color.

Excellent three season shirt.
This shirt is perfect three seasons out of the year, often wear this or another color all day and evenings during the winter months, wearing it writing this review. It also works great under the LL Bean Field coat for trips to the wood pile.
Highly recommended.
