Our twist on a classic, with authentic cable designs from the Aran Islands. This quarter-zip sweater is made from crispy cotton yarns that are substantial and reach further into the seasons than traditional wool.
We chose densely-knit cotton yarns to give our quarter-zip cable sweater three-season appeal. It's more relaxed than traditional fisherman sweaters, offering supreme comfort and easygoing style.

Gorgeous fit and style
I'm a perennial fan of the cotton fisherman sweaters and this sweater is another awesome addition to that selection. I deducted a star because I received a sweater with some major flaws (serious snags in the yarn all over one arm) and loose yarn in other parts of the sweater. At this price point (even on sale) the quality control and craftsmanship should be better. Of course it is sold out in my size, so I guess I'm stuck with it and can't exchange for one without flaws. I agree with another reviewer that the faux letter zipper pull is an odd choice and cheapens the look so I plan on replacing mine.

The sweater is good looking. The material is stiff and heavy. It feels like it was knit with twine.
The fit was a bit small.

Not for me...
I wanted to love this sweater, but I don't. The sweater has no shape to it. It looks like a baggy, limp mess. I will try washing it to see if it shrinks. Sad

This is definitely worth the price! This is a thick cotton sweater with a beautiful. It fits true to size. I am 5 ft 2-3 and 112 lbs. I purchased the xs and it fits perfectly, true to size. Very happy with this purchase!
