A good towel to add to the array
I got this to give as a gift to a friend who is an L. L. Bean fan. Seems nice. Not nearly as thick as the ones of years ago, but I think with washing and drying, it will thicken up and be a nice towel. Sometimes you don't need a super thick towel, you need one that is more pliable - so it adds to the array. I got my last one in the 80's and it is still going strong. If this one lasts as long, it is likely to outlast both of us!

I really like this towel. It is a thin towel which some may not like but that is the primary reason I bought it. I do not like towels that are too thick because they are too heavy.

OUT with the fluffy-big and IN with simple-thin!
If you're like me and dont like the soft fluffy, too-big bath towel, than this is for you! It dries quickly, doesnt feel like a blanket wrapped around you. Its simple and thin, that I prefer over the big fluffy ones. I actually love this towel, because its thin, simple and locker hook in the middle of it.

Good gift when monogramed
I bought four locker room towels and had all monogramed for gifts. No question, the quality is much poorer than the same appearing towels that I purchased a few years back from LL Bean: Thinner and smaller. The older towels will last a lifetime, these won't.

Years ago I bought 13 of these towels for my family! I was a proud girl living in Maine! We had them monogrammed and gave them as Christmas gifts! They all opened at the same time. What fun ! Since then I became a grandmother! So I had to get them each one ! I was a little disappointed in the quality but I was thrilled that they were happy to have one like the rest of the family! LL bean is a staple of Maine and I hope they can continue to make family traditions!

Not what it used to be
I returned this towel. I had previously bought it years ago. This towel is smaller and way thinner. Not worth the money.
