Order a Larger Size than Usual
The length and fit are fine. However, these jeans run SMALL. I normally wear a size 6 but my former size 6 LLBean jeans were always a bit snug. But I still wear them and they stretch. I purchased a size 8 in these jeans thinking they would be larger than the size 6 I had. They were smaller! I had to get a size 10. I am 5’7” and weigh 120. The M/T length is great.

Misleading sizing "Beanflex" vs "True Shape"
I was wearing a Beans size 14 "Women's True Shape Jeans, High Rise Straight-Leg", which had become a a bit snug in the waist so I decided to order a size 16 of the "Women's BeanFlex Jeans, Mid-Rise Bootcut". However, the size 16 Beanflex jeans waist is tighter than my size 14 in the in the True Shape (too uncomfortable to wear), yet I can still wear my my size 14 (although no as comfortable as I would like). If I went to a bigger than size 16 the hips/seat area would definitely be too big. (I'm in the senior age group but only by waist has expanded with age.) Except for the sizing problem I would have been satisfied.

Well fitting jeans
This is my third pair of Beanflex jeans. I like the fact that they don’t change in size after several hours of wear, and the fabric blend stays crisp looking, like they were just washed. My usual size is 8, but in these I wear a 10 because they run a little smaller. Overall, I’m very pleased with these jeans, and would like LLB to offer a stonewashed or rinsed without contrast stitching.

Tight waist and fabric odor
I bought two pairs of these jeans after they were the only ones that fit reasonably well in store, but i kind of regret it. Both pairs are too tight in the waist but fit fairly well in the leg and hit perfectly above the ground with normal sneakers on (I'm 5'3" and purchased 16s). The light blue pair have a chemical odor that hasn't gone away with multiple washings. I'm still hopeful they will losen up with wear and the smell will fade. It's not like these are super cheap. LLBEAN needs better quality control here.

Sometimes you just need the old stand by style…mid-rise bootcut. These jeans fit great, look great, the petite length was PERFECT for this barely 5’3” girl! The denim quality is top-notch.

Not a boot cut.
I bought two pairs of jeans, one boot cut, one straight leg. I measured them and they are they same dimensions from the knee down. In fact I'm wearing the same pair of jeans I bought last year in the same size etc. They are really boot cut, but not this pair. Really annoying. I'll keep them, but I still need a pair of actual boot cut jeans and I'm stuck
