Crushing the Upland Hunting Game
I really like these boots. I'm a pheasant hunter in Colorado and I got these just in time for opening weekend. I put a lot of miles on the right away and I have no pain in my feet. They are still real stiff being brand new but I will wear them in pretty quickly.

A well made product
A well made product. Quality of the leather, soles, laces & stitching are all excellent. Follow the suggested breaking in guidelines. Very warm & waterproof. Two drawbacks - a bit heavier than I would have preferred & sizing tends to run small. You may want to go a half size up. These boots should last for many years!

Death Star Boots: Strong With A Big Weak Point
Bought these a year ago, and through a summer of daily hikes and a long upland hunting season in NJ. For the first 8 months, they were perfect year-round boots - light enough for the summer, warm enough for the winter, great fit, tough as nails, waterproof, really nice looking, etc. etc. Then a single crack appeared at the base of the toe box on both boots over a spring weekend. In a single hike after that, the leather split open, the lining started to shred, and these "waterproof" boots became flooded by even a hint of rain or wet grass. Not repairable without a crazy investment, and in any case the boots shouldn't have failed under these conditions. Unless Maine Wardens are replacing their boots every 3 months, these should be renamed "Desert Ranger Boots But Warranty Voided The First Day It Rains".

Christmas gift from my wife. Comfortable boot. Good fit. Great support. Waterproof as advertised. Laces are garbage. They only lasted one month before breaking and I had to replace. Otherwise, I would give a 5 star review.

Great boots!
Bought these boots 6 months ago and I use them for hunting and outdoor activities all winter long. Replacement for my LL Bean goretex boots. These have much better traction,just as warm, and much easier to get on and off.

Maine Warden Field Boot is great!
