Miss the old style case
I purchased an earlier version of this case a few years ago ago love it. While the fabric on this updated version is more water proof, I don't know why they decided to put the front zipper compartment on the bottom of the case. The two zipper tabs and anything that you decide to put in that outside compartment won't allow the case to lay down flat. Depending on what you plan to store in the zipper compartment, it's a probably just a minor annoyance, but makes no practical sense. Otherwise, the case is sturdy and should hold up. I really like that the perimeter of the case is hard and keeps it's shape.

Very nice case
I'm using this to keep my fly gear in the back of my car portable and organized and it's perfect for that. Of course, it's well constructed and the modular sections are great.
Do be warned though that you probably can't fit 9+ weight reels in this comfortably; my 8wt reels do protrude slightly. You probably won't
be fitting switch and spey rods in this either.

Nice case, not long enough
Nice piece of gear, high quality, good price. I really liked it. It was just too small for my 10’ 6” nymph rod so I returned it. But if you don’t need a longer case it is perfect for a carry on rod case.
