Rated 1 de 5 de par Hard to control skis I am an experienced cross country skier and snowshoe user but I had a great deal of trouble navigating these skis. The snow surfaces were a bit icy from recent sleeting snow. The front tips often got buried under the deeper snow. It was hard to have control going down even the slightest decline. The edges would not grip, I think because the bindings aren’t rigid enough. They might function better on packed powder slopes, but then I already have other skis for that situation.

Rated 5 de 5 de par Just awesome! I’ve read some mixed reviews on these. I just love them! Great stability! Awesome on the climb and quick enough on the downhill. I spent about two hours today on them. I am now on a search for another pair for my son. Unfortunately, they are sold out! I highly recommend the Sliding Skishoe!

Rated 5 de 5 de par Swosh These sliding skishoes have been the best. I have relatively level ground with plenty of snow. Unlike the work of snow shoes or cross country skis, these are still a good workout but more stable. As my trail packs down, the speed is quicker. I really like them. Eventually I add my dog to the mix for ski jouring.

Rated 4 de 5 de par Limited to moderate conditions I like the quality, the bindings are great! The one thing that strongly limits this ski is that the fishscale area is not wide enough and long enough to get enough grip - including more than a gentle hill, icy conditions, or hardpack. But it's great in moderate conditions!

Rated 3 de 5 de par Not a Hok ski but usable for the casual skier Bought the ski shoes on sale from LL Bean, thinking they would work similar to my Hok skis. The plan was to remove the mounted all-boot binding and replace it with a Voile telemark 3-pin binding for lateral support when skiing the the ‘fat’ skis—however, the treaded binding mounts were set up for a normal 3-pin binding, not the treaded telemark binding mounts found on the Hok skis! Did not want to drill an additional hole in the skis for the telemark mount to void any warranty so I sent the skis back unused to LL Bean. The skis would appear to work for the casual skier with the attached all-boot binding but I was looking for a 3-pin telemark binding option. Only concern I would have is that the fish scale base did not extend the full width of the skis.

Rated 4 de 5 de par ski shoes These seem to work quite well as an alternative to actual cross country skis. They did not come with any directions on how to adjust the fit any size straps. I couldn't quite figure it out. Please give me some instructive guidance. Until I figure out or get an actual instruction guide, I won't be able to use them properly.
