Where have timeless jeans gone?
Very disappointed, not so much in these jeans, because I did not really expect them to fit without alterations, but with LLBean in general.
The jeans, as a Size 10, did fit true to size (too big in the waist, as usual) but as "boyfriend" jeans, I did not expect them to be skin tight (probably due to the stretch component); they certainly are not "relaxed" in the hips. Other people may consider them to fit, and even to fit me, but I am not into clingy, buttock-defining jeans. Maybe they are not so clingy on a less athletic body.
I have worn LL Bean jeans for over twenty years, with various definitions of "classic", "relaxed", or "original". The jeans have been 100% cotton fabric and give a silhouette that more modest women appreciate. I agree with the other comments in the reviews that mention LLBean has abandoned many women who found common-sense jeans at LLBean, especially through the years of extreme-low rise, skinny jeans madness. LLBean was about the only retailer selling jeans that fit an hour-glass figure, of whatever age, and who wanted to wear comfortable, timeless, jeans.
I feel a sense of sadness that LLBean is gradually losing me as a customer because I no longer fit into their mandate.

Good purchase !
Bought these a few months ago, and have been wearing them non stop since. Liked them so much that I bought a 2nd pair right away. The quality is good, they wash well and dry fast. I bought 2 of the same, but would be interested if more colors were available.

Best Jeans Ever
I got the darker wash. The fabric is soft with a bit of give and fits oh so nice, perfect. These make my tush look great and fit my waist perfectly! Great style to dress up or down. Getting another pair. I'm 5'9", about 140 and took a size 10 regular. My perfect pair of jeans.

Offer in a mid or lower rise version!
By definition, boyfriend jeans should not be high rise as men do not wear high rise jeans. These jeans are REALLY high rise also, which I am not fond of. When you sit, they cut into your stomach or ribcage. It is just plain uncomfortable. I am thin and that makes no difference. I know I am not the only female that complains about high rise jeans and LLB makes more high rise than mid rise which is unfortunate. That being said, the jeans look good on if you can get them to sit correctly. Please offer these in a mid or lower rise so they are TRUE "boyfriend" jeans. The legs are also tapered more than I prefer, so they look more like Mom jeans because of this. The true shining point is the material is PERFECT! Feels like jeans, not too heavy, and has just a touch of stretch.
