The old L.L. Bean quality is on this item
I’ve been an L.L. Bean customer since 1994. I noticed that the quality has gone down. But the excellent quality came back on this item. When I got it, the material was stiff. But as always, I wash brand new clothing before wearing them. I will be wearing this during the cold season, but I decided to wash it anyway. After washing, the material became softer. I tried it on with a light as well as dark sweater inside, I did not experience the sherpa sticking to my sweater. It looks very nice with leggings, jeans, and fitted skirts. For reference, I am 5’2 in height and weigh 116 pounds. I got the extra small size the color is the one on sale. It’s on the heavy side as expected and it is well-made. The buttons are difficult to work on, but I can manage.

The shirt-jac is weighty, more than I expected, but that fact was very welcome. Nice fabric, but I haven't washed yet so can't comment on that.

Sales are good and may surprise you.
I am happy with my new purchase.I needed a jacket for the fall.Therefore I watched the sales
and came upon one with sherpa lining.It is just what I wanted.

Difficult buttons
Overall the shacked is comfortable and warm. However it is very difficult to get the small buttons through the thick fabric and small button holes.
