Good light- medium warmth
Great fit through the chest with room for a layer or two underneath, and comes slightly below the waist for good coverage. Outer fabric isn’t as soft as fleece but seems tougher with better wear/abrasion resistance. Light to medium warmth so good indoors or under a coat.

I like everything about it
I'm 6'8" and weigh about 220 lb. and the "slightly fitted" XL Tall fits better than any other vest I own. The interior is like other kinds of fleece but the "sweater fleece" exterior has a more interesting texture. Not "fleecy," which makes it better for layering, especially under jackets with fleece interiors. The buffalo plaid is very subtle - not overpowering either in brightness or the size of the checks. And the weight makes it just warm enough for cool Southern California mornings and evenings. It's my new favorite.
