Our sweater is crafted from 100% premium lambswool yarns that are richly textured and noticeably softer than competitors' versions. In fact, it's practically impossible to find other ragg sweaters made without using lesser wool-blend yarns. Each of our ragg wool sweaters is designed stitch by stitch with time-honored styling and details.

Great sweater!
This was a gift from my wife. In Mongolia, my sweaters are all locally made (Yak, Cashmere, and Sheep wool). This is my first "mass-produced" wool sweater. The quality is fantastic. I really like its thickness; it's much more substantial than my cashmere sweaters. - I imagine it'll be more durable. It is a bit stiff, but I'm sure it'll soften up over time.
She got me a medium-tall because the standard medium wasn't available. Initially, it was a little big. A medium would probably have been the right size. I soaked it in warm/hot water and put it in the spin dryer. It fits great now.

A classic, still the standard in a wool sweater
I’ve long wanted one of these sweaters and somehow all these years, didn’t realize it was an LL Bean. I assumed it was a common pattern so I went looking for one and then discovered it’s an LL Bean original and classic.
Why did I wait so long?! It’s the perfect wool sweater, warm but not too much for inside, hefty but comfortable, beautiful shade of blue but mixes well with jeans, khakis, black, green.
I’m surprised how many compliments I’ve gotten on it from young people who look quite hip! It’s my “cool dad” sweater, I guess, ha.
This sweater may last longer than me despite my good health!
Just a bit of a generous cut, so if between sizes, size down.
Highly recommended.
