Our sweater is crafted from 100% premium lambswool yarns that are richly textured and noticeably softer than competitors' versions. In fact, it's practically impossible to find other ragg sweaters made without using lesser wool-blend yarns. Each of our ragg wool sweaters is designed stitch by stitch with time-honored styling and details that come straight from our archives.

Christmas gift for my mom
This sweater is beautiful. I originally purchased another sweater from another company online. When it arrived it was not 100% wool and 2x the price. I ran out and shopped LL Bean in person. This sweater is stunning. It's perfect for the cold Michigan winters! LL Bean will be my first stop next Christmas, it's just a lovely gift to give :)

Bean’s wool rag sweater
L love the sweater. It is the usual good standard of LLBean. I have been buy LL Bean clothes, shoes, & boots since I was 17 yrs old. I am now a senior citizen. Their clothes and shoes are true to size.

Sweater connoisseur. Excellent all around. High quality fabric with gorgeous hand feel, not tight/heavy or loose/stretchy; no itching, luscious on bare skin. Slightly off white with warm attractive, natural looking browns. EB well known for boxy fits, this is. Neck lies smoothly, waist is loose, sleeves perfectly proportional. Against instructions I machine washed on delicate with woolite, shaped on a sweater rack to air dry with no problems, no pilling noted either!

A substantial warm sweater
This is a lovely sweater and fits perfectly. The design is beautiful and it's in a grouping of unusual colors--brown and tan. This makes it a perfect match for my brown slacks! The weight of the sweater is heavier, making it very warm. If you are looking for a lightweight or dressier sweater, this may not be what you're looking for. I do wish for one thing, and that is that the cuffs of the sweater were knitted with a pattern in the dark-brown yarn. The white cuffs are bound to show signs of wear very quickly.
