Great base layer or comfortable on its own
This shirt is great as a base layer but warm enough to wear on its own. It fits true to size, and washes and dries well without shrinkage. I do wish it came in more than two colors.

Encompass Merino Wool-Blend, Nice
I do own two and will likely get another. Warm, soft, nice fit, easy in delicate wash, and, as a wool blend, no moth holes or shrinkage. I don't need or want the thumb hole sleeves or my decolletage revealed in the scoop neckline, but you may want those. A very nice shirt in many temps or outfits. Pricey, but worth it. More colors and styles would be great.

great shirt but need more colors
I bought this shirt in wine red, and reviewed it in November 2022. Since then I have been looking for other colors, but no new ones have been introduced, and the available colors have been reduced to one only. Please add new colors--blue, purple and cream would be great. This is a really great shirt, warm, good fit, nice fabric, and I would love more of them!

Best Shirt Ever!!
I bought this shirt in 2022, and as 2024 draws to a close, it still looks as good and fits as well as it did when it arrived in my mailbox. It is warm in winter but not too warm for most summer days, holds up to hikes and field trips, and comes in a nice array of colors. I was so taken with first one that I bought, I ordered four more the following year. L.L. Bean, you got this one exactly right: please don't stop making it!

I love these
I find that my pajama tops need to be replaced well before the bottoms so I buy these as replacement tops. They are great. Roomy for sleeping and a breeze to wash and dry. Sleeves are long and do not shrink.
