It Was a Graveyard Smash
I bought the base layer to wear while leading an hour-long cemetery tour as "The Spirit of the Past" on an evening in mid-October. Temperatures were in the mid 50s, and I wanted to stay warm while wearing a long knit dress and a shawl (and tights and boots). I was totally comfortable and am sure I'll be wearing the base layer a lot more in "real life" this winter. Am so glad to have it ... it feels really cozy!

A must! Soft. Provides appropriate insulation as a base layer. Dries quickly. Does not retain odor. Ibought one in each color. The"dark nlack" is more of a heather gray. I wish this came in a mock turtle neck. I have found many of the ll bean base layer items to have a change in quality. This is new to me. If you like the fabric buy several now before design and fabric change.
