Love wool, fit, dislike inner front zipper flap
I thought this Dark Cinder, medium grey/brown, sweater would be my new forever sweater. The inner wool flap along the full length of the garment is the reason for returning it and giving it only 4 stars. I have 5 of these sweaters purchased over the years and they are my go garment for warmth, casual and semi dressy occasions. Black is more dressy. They are very durable, comfortable, and keep the warmth on the body in addition to always look nice...very balanced. However this year's style modification appears off balance with the large wide inner zipper flap appearing very prominent when not fully zipped. The upper edge of the flap is at my chin when partially zipped. I've had it on a couple of times and dislike the annoying unbalanced appearance and dislike feeling this flap on my neck and under my chin. It can not get used to this ugly flap. Love the color and quality. Wish I could remove this flap without damaging the sweater. Perhaps a woman with a long neck would not object to the annoying flap.
LL Bean, please bring this sweater next year in this color without the zipper flap. My 5 other full zip LL Bean wool sweaters never caught fabric when zipping and have no flaps. The flap cheapens the fine LL Bean style and is not needed. My older chocolate brown sweater has cables on the front one on each side of the zipper. It's fabulous. My older gray sweater with two cables I worn forever and patched the worn thin elbows...great style in a gently variegated grey color. Please bring this wool zippered sweater back for 2028 with no flap in lightly variegated grey and dark cinder.

Very Nice Cardigan
This cardigan is simple and fits me well. The single drawback, for me, is that the cotton that mimics --or is supposed to mimic leather--looks so much like what it is . I think I'd rather have fake suede that resembles leather more closely. And I'm hoping the wool will soften.

Perfect for fall!
Love the true to size fit, and flattering autumn color. It’s practical, rugged, and still nice enough to wear out to lunch or dinner.
