Sweater
Nice sweater but wind flap behind zipper is annoying because it gets caught in the zipper when zipping up. Only remedy is to hold the sweater down very taut when zipping up.

Athletic-Cut Sweater
My husband is tall (6'1") and slender (160lbs), which makes it difficult to find clothing that fit his build. I was thrilled that this sweater fit him perfectly! He did not complain about the sleeves being too short or about the fabric being too "itchy." The sweater can be dressed up or worn for casual events. This one is a keeper!

Too Small Despite Size Chart Listings
The sweater itself is beautiful. The quality, material and comfort were all i wanted - albeit feeling one size to small. I am a big man who normally wears a 3XL (54-56). I looked like I would burst when I zipped up the sweater despite trying a similar cut and style from a quality competitor that fit much more to the measurements described. It's a shame because i really loved this style and hope to make the most of it this autumn and winter season in NYC.

Good fit, quality appears good
Was worried with some of the negative reviews but solid fit, arm holes fit perfectly, nice and warm. The zipper is a little sticky halfway up. Scratchier than most other wool I have, so I have to wear a long sleeve shirt under it. Overall what I wanted tho- a warm sturdy sweater.

Built For a Commando
This sweater has origins dating back to a time when men were fit and in shape, and its cut reflects that. It’s designed for men whose chest measurement exceeds their waist.
L.L. Bean, don't ever change the fit of this sweater. It's supposed to be made for the Commando. Your other sweaters have ample space for today's common man.
Hopefully it holds up to outdoor use.
I gave it four stars because it's expensive.

Nice but unreasonably tight
This sweater is nice quality and very warm, but it is terrible small and tight. Yes, I know it says slim fit, but this is more like ordering a size or two smaller. I've worn slim fit tops and never had one so much tighter (and shorter) than normal. This is the only LLB product I've had a problem with, so far. It's a shame, because I'd been looking for a full-zip commando for a long time.
